Apple CEO Strengthens Employee Giving in Community As Part of Tax Reform Environment

Corporate leadership is all about building a smart business that includes corporate responsibility and employee engagement.  As Tim Cook, CEO, Apple explains:  “We also know how much our employees value giving back to the communities where we all work and live. I’m happy to announce that starting immediately and running through the end of 2018, Apple will match all employee charitable donations, up to $10,000 annually, at a rate of two to one. In addition, Apple will double the amount we match for each hour you donate your time.”

Kaiser Permanente Employees Volunteered Statewide in Celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day

More than 550 Kaiser Permanente Colorado physicians and staff celebrated Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day by rolling up their sleeves in remembrance of Dr. King’s commitment to community service.

In partnership with Metro Volunteers, Kaiser Permanente Colorado employees will volunteer at more than 30 projects all along the Front Range—from Greely to Pueblo. Projects include building outdoor bike racks for the public to preparing packages for the homeless and public school improvements to helping with cooking classes. This is the 14th consecutive year Kaiser Permanente has participated in MLK Jr. Day of Service.
