B:CIVIC, is honored to receive the 2018 Community Impact Amplifier Award from Community Shares of Colorado. The award celebrates the collaboration between Metro Volunteers (soon to be Spark the Change Colorado), B:CIVIC, and Community Shares for their work on the CSR Solutions of Colorado.

CSR Solutions combines the power of volunteer engagement, philanthropic impact and best practices in community engagement to better assist our business partners’ good work. The collaborative provides businesses with a robust suite of cost-effective products and services to grow and build their corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategies.

“We are so proud to collaborate with trusted organizations like Community Shares and Metro Volunteers. CSR Solutions of Colorado allows us to leverage our complementary organizational expertise to serve businesses of all sizes who want to leverage their employees’ passion through employee giving and volunteering,” said Demesha Hill, B:CIVIC Board Chair and Managing Director, Janus Henderson Foundation.

This partnership dovetails with B:CIVIC’s recent release of our GOODBUSINESS: The State of Corporate Philanthropy in Colorado report to serve as a benchmark for companies seeking to expand their community engagement.

“We learned that Colorado business leaders are investing in philanthropy and volunteerism first and foremost because they believe it’s the right thing to do as community stewards,” said Kirsten Vermulen, B:CIVIC Vice Chair and Program Director, Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation. “They want to amplify their employee’s passions for this great state and partner with local nonprofits who are driving real change. CSR Solutions of Colorado allows us to support businesses of all sizes in meeting those goals.”
