DENVER, CO – February 9, 2018 – The results are in for The Denver Post Season To Share presented by DaVita: more than $1,850,000 will be granted to 49 local nonprofit organizations in March. Thanks to over 4,200 donors and a generous DaVita matching grant, this will make a significant impact on thousands of children, families and individuals through programs focusing on the areas of children and youth, health and wellness, homelessness and hunger.

Through The Denver Post Community Foundation, these grants will strengthen Metro Denver by helping to nourish those who experience hunger, protect children and families in need with medical care, prepare children and youth for success in the classroom and in life, and house families and individuals in need of a permanent home. The nonprofit agencies receiving grants will be announced in March 2018.

“We are so grateful to everyone who donated to this campaign,” said Tracy Ulmer, president and CEO of The Denver Post Community Foundation. “Thanks to the generous match of our hometown company DaVita and thousands of kind donors, our community will benefit greatly from the impact of $1.85 million in grants to the deserving Metro Denver nonprofits.”

The largest gift to this year’s Season To Share campaign was from MDC Richmond American Homes Foundation.
