B:CIVIC Founding Member Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP (DGS) celebrates its 100th anniversary this year, and they’ve announced that the milestone calls for 365 days of good! The company has dubbed 2015 the “Year of 100 Good Deeds” (Y100) and its team is completing a wide array of projects that benefit the community. These projects were nominated by DGS attorneys and staff, ensuring a strong level of interest and engagement with the efforts.
While the firm has traditionally focused its community involvement efforts on generous financial contributions, it’s widening the giving scope with Y100 by also coordinating volunteer projects and providing pro bono legal services. Check out the full list of planned partnerships here.
“Service to the community is one of the firm’s core values,” said Kenzo Kawanabe, chair of the Y100 Committee, in a press release. “It was a standard set by the founding partners at the firm – and it is a standard that our attorneys and staff strive to continue today with pro bono legal services, community board memberships, volunteer projects, and civic involvement.”
